EPS emergency power supply performance new standards!

2018-02-23

Emergency lighting centralized EPS emergency power supply shall be equipped with main power, charging, fault and emergency status indicator lights, with green for main power status, yellow for fault status, and red for charging status and emergency status.

1. Emergency lighting centralized EPS emergency power supply shall be equipped with main power, charging, fault and emergency status indicator lights. The main power status shall be green, the fault status shall be yellow, and the charging status and emergency status shall be red.

2. The centralized EPS power supply for emergency lighting shall be equipped with a self-compound test button (or switch-off) that simulates the power supply failure of the main power supply, and no switch that affects the emergency function shall be installed.

3. The centralized EPS power supply for emergency lighting shall display the main voltage, battery voltage, output voltage and output current.

4, emergency lighting centralized EPS power supply main power and standby power should not be output at the same time, and can be manually, automatically two ways to switch to emergency state, and should be set up only professionals can operate the forced emergency start button, the button is started, emergency lighting centralized power supply should not be affected by discharge protection.

5. Each output branch of centralized EPS power supply for emergency lighting shall be protected separately, and the fault of any branch shall not affect the normal operation of other branches.

6. The centralized EPS power supply for emergency lighting should be able to work normally under the conditions of no-load, full-load 10% and overload 20%, and the output characteristics should meet the manufacturer's regulations.

7. When the rated voltage of the series-connected battery pack is greater than or equal to 12V, the emergency lighting centralized power supply shall protect the battery pack in sections. The rated voltage of each section of battery (group) shall not be greater than 12V, and when the battery (group) is fully charged, the voltage of each section of battery (group) shall not be less than the rated voltage. When the battery voltage of any section is lower than the rated voltage, the centralized power supply for emergency lighting shall send out fault sound and light signal and indicate the corresponding position.

8. The emergency lighting centralized EPS power supply shall send out fault sound and light signal under the following conditions, and indicate the type of fault; the fault sound signal shall be able to be eliminated manually. When there is a new fault signal, the fault sound signal shall be restarted; the fault light signal shall be maintained before troubleshooting.

The fault conditions are as follows: a) the connection line between the charger and the battery is open; B) the emergency output circuit is open; C) in the emergency state, the battery voltage is lower than the overdischarge protection voltage value.
